Last scheduled day for teachers**

Last scheduled day for teachers**

**The last scheduled day of school is based on the adopted Board calendar and may change due to inclement weather or other closures. Maryland law requires 180 instructional days. School systems must identify six inclement weather make-up days if a virtual instruction plan has not been approved. If additional days are needed, the school year will be extended beyond the scheduled last day for students. If make-up days are not used, the school year may end earlier while still meeting required instructional days. If inclement weather days have to be made up, the teacher work day will follow the last day for students.
